What counts as an open source project?+
Any project publicly available on GitHub with an OSI-approved license (MIT, Apache 2.0, GPL, etc.) and active community development.
Do I need to meet a minimum star count?+
No. Submit the application form and we’ll review whether the program is a fit for your project.
How long does it take to get started?+
You can apply right away using the form. We’ll review your project and email you with next steps. Check your inbox and spam folder regularly after applying so you don’t miss our reply. No call is required.
Can multiple maintainers from the same project apply?+
Yes. Multiple maintainers from the same project are welcome to apply.
What happens if my project changes license?+
The program is for open source projects. If your project moves to a proprietary license, the free access would no longer apply, but you can transition to a paid plan.
